Following his directorial debut with Piove, Paolo Strippoli returns to direct L'Estranea, a psychological thriller that blends emotional and supernatural tension. This Italian-French-Belgian co-production tells a dark family story steeped in mystery, featuring an ensemble cast including Jasmine Trinca, Romana Maggiora Vergano, Adriano Giannini, and Valeria Bruni Tedeschi.
At the heart of the story is Anna, a mother who arrives at her daughter's home during a fierce storm to reveal a truth hidden for over twenty years.
