Almost a year has passed since Terrifier 3 brought Art the Clown back to the big screen, in fact the third chapter was released in cinemas on Halloween 2024. Now it is established that the famous clown "Art" will truly return to the big screen, given that "Terrifier 4" is already in production, specifically in the pre-production phase, so much so that the film's director Damien Leone is finalizing the screenplay. Despite secrecy on various fronts, the actor who plays Art the Clown, David Howard Thornton, has revealed that the fourth chapter and perhaps the final chapter of the saga will have an epic and extremely wild ending, accompanied by a substantial dose of violence and gore effects. If the first film was considered an underground gem for genre fans, it is with Terrifier 2 that there is a leap toward a more mainstream audience. The second chapter of the saga reached 15 million dollars at the box office against 250,000 dollars spent for production. The third chapter, on the other hand, marked a further box office record.
What we can expect from Terrifier 4 is a considerable increase in the rate of violence and blood to the nth degree, as well as the perversions that have made the fortune of the previous chapters.
