•Davide and Alice are a couple of ruthless serial killers who love each other because they are bound by a mysterious past. One day, Mirco, a boy obsessed with the murders committed by this couple, will show up at their house and want to know what drives the two lovers to kill! But who is Mirco really? And is that really the reason that led him to enter that house, or is there something that connects him with the couple?
Fourth feature film by Italian director Ivan Zuccon, inspired by the story by Enrico Saletti "Just before delirium". Now, having reached this film, Zuccon has entered the hearts of many fans of independent horror, receiving many praises, especially in Germany.
In "Bad brains" there is a massive presence of splatter scenes and very disturbing scenes (like the one of the eye that is exported, chewed and then spat out, or the one of the heart that, after being exported, is hung on a butcher's hook).
Excellent performance by Emanuele Cerman (an actor now a symbol for Zuccon's films) and Valeria Sannino who lead us into a whirlwind of murders and pure madness, with no way out! Twisted psychology throughout the narration, no predictable scene, violence without escape that keeps the viewer well glued to the chair during the viewing of the film, excellent directorial performance: all this is "Bad brains"! A film that takes us, flashback after flashback, to a final twist of pure madness and not at all predictable.
"Bad brains" in Germany has been defined by some film critics as "one of the best Italian horror films", and has received excellent success.
The viewing is recommended to all horror lovers and especially to those nostalgic for Italian horror, this is a great film that in the future will be placed alongside works such as "Dallamore Dallamorte" and "La casa dalle finestre che ridono".
A notable title and to be highlighted among the best Italian films of all time.
