A composer, struck by a severe family loss, decides to move to an old isolated villa, vacant for many years. After a brief period of tranquility in the house, strange events begin to occur, leading him to the discovery of a horrific crime that took place in the house many years before. The film starts well but then drags on a bit, becoming too slow; when you reach the end, you have the feeling of having seen too little because, in fact, almost nothing happens throughout the film. Worth mentioning the excellent performance of George C. Scott (already seen in "Hardcore") and a fairly original plot.
