•Taddeo is the priest of the rundown city of Cintolermo. One day, Taddeo becomes a witness to a spectacle of sexual violence. This "The Gospel According to Taddeo" is a very low-budget product but with very high trash and splatter content, at times really unbearable. If it were an American film, it would have been distributed by the production company "Troma", in fact it is possible to find many similarities between the hero of this film, equipped with a lethal cross-sickle-stake (a cross with two sickles on the sides and a pointed tip at the end) and the Toxic Avenger of the "The Toxic Avenger" saga (who in turn wields a deadly weapon: the mocho!). Moreover, it is possible to compare "The Gospel According to Taddeo" with German splatter films (such as the "Violent shit" trilogy or "Das komabrutale duell") for the sometimes unbearable splatter content. To have a clear idea of what "The Gospel According to Taddeo" is, it is enough to add to the already mentioned level of trash and splatter, rough special effects, many swear words and the dish is served... this is "The Gospel According to Taddeo"! Unfortunately, the acting of the actors is not convincing at all (sometimes almost irritating), although it is not the acting that interests in this type of film, the important thing is that there are splashes of blood! Overall, "The Gospel According to Taddeo" is a film that, if taken for what it is, can be a fun film! The viewing of the film is recommended only to people with an "iron" stomach and to lovers of the splatter subgenre. The rating takes into account the fact that the film in question is not to be taken seriously and therefore the vote is given with the full awareness that "The Gospel According to Taddeo" is a film made to entertain the viewer!
