•A man, while trying to sleep, is disturbed by an annoying mosquito that won't let him rest. The man will try many ways to kill the animal that disrupts his attempt to rest, but the task will prove more complicated than expected!
Thus begins a fierce battle between the man and the animal...
A short film of the "Z series" by Italian director Dagoberto Brasile lasting 40 minutes.
This short film tends to pay homage in several scenes to the cult film of 1958 "The Experiment of Dr. K" by Kurt Neumann and other science fiction films of that period.
Very often, "Z movie" manages to make you smile with really ridiculous ideas, obviously intentional, like the protagonist's look which is decidedly comical.
It must be said that Dagoberto Brasile and Krakatoa ink (the production company of his works) are really pranksters, but examining this "Z movie" you can see that the final part is really well done; the only flaw is found in the special effects, but you must always consider that it is an amateur and low-budget film!
It must also be said that this short film is accompanied by a good soundtrack.
Watching "Z movie" is recommended to all science fiction film lovers, to lovers of trash, and to those who would like to spend 40 minutes in good humor, because this film is a really very entertaining work, in some respects similar to a cartoon for some ideas!
The vote given does not take into account the fact that the work is declared to be of the "Z series" because it is not important which series a work belongs to, behind every work, whether it is of "series A", "series B" or "series Z", there is always the same work and the same efforts and this work also shows how to make cinema with few resources at your disposal!
Curiosity: if the "Z" in the title is taken as an onomatopoeic word, then it refers to the buzzing of the mosquito, if instead it is taken normally, it refers to a "Z series" film!
