Les membres de la famille Hamilton se sont récemment adaptés à la mort inopportune de leurs parents. L'aîné, David, tente de jouer le rôle de père malgré le comportement incestueux et de plus en plus violent des jumeaux, Wendell et Darlene. Le plus jeune, Francis, filme sa famille avec la caméra de ses parents. Les images tournées révèlent l'univers de cette famille, à priori paisible, dont certains voisins ne sortent pas indemnes...

Different take on the genre. The "twist" is not only pretty straight forward, it's also straight up given away in the promotional material, and that twist is really the point of The Hamiltons. Even so, I was engaged, which is important. Acting could be better, same goes for the AV quality, but you get that with independant horror, and this I can handle.
Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole.
