In order to combat the damage caused by the depletion of the ozone layer, maverick biologist Hank Symes unleashes his most ambitious experiment to date: accelerated evolution. Unfortunately, this not only causes the authorities to take notice, but also creates a backlash from his new neighbors--leaving his son caught in the middle.

The ozone hole and pollution have mutated the genetic conformation of plants; a scientist tries to remedy this but ends up victim of some giant mushrooms. The Earth's population is now in serious danger... Canadian splatter-horror production: "excessive" special effects, improvised screenplay, mediocre actors (after all, it is a B movie...) but also a bit of healthy fun. Ugly but there is much worse...
