Two biologists travel to the Amazon to explore the lagoon where remains of a mysterious creature were found. The expedition encounters a half-man, half-fish being capable of living underwater. They manage to capture the monster, which eventually manages to escape and lose its trail. A classic of the fanta-horror genre; a bit dated but well directed, inventive, fun, and still enjoyable. Suitable especially for true lovers of 1950s cult films.
