An English scientist travels to Tibet in search of a miraculous plant that is said to cure lycanthropy. Upon arriving at the mountain slopes, he is attacked and bitten by a werewolf and, upon returning to London, he begins to sow death and panic until the police manage to stop him. One of the earliest films to address the theme of lycanthropy. Decent, "limited" by "archaic" special effects; it is the film that inspired Landis for his excellent "An American Werewolf in London" (not surprisingly, the original title of the film is "Werewolf of London" inexplicably translated in Italy as "Il Segreto del Tibet").
