•In a house suddenly "possessed" by a mysterious giant game die, a man is driven to madness and commits suicide as a final act. But what are the causes that led him to make that gesture? And above all, why is that strange giant die in that house? And how did it get there? A fantasy-horror short film by Italian director Claudio Carosi, lasting 8 minutes. The narrative goes backward, starting from the end to discover the causes of the tragic ending. In the first two minutes, the photography focuses on the color red, there are some really unsettling background noises, and the atmospheres strongly remind those we are accustomed to by the great master of horror literature Howard Philips Lovecraft. There is no presence of blood, and in the first minutes, there is a very claustrophobic air. "The Revenge of the Die" is a truly original fantasy-horror short with a good underlying story that is well developed and manages not to bore the viewer; instead, they will be glued to the television waiting for the ending! Overall, this short film turns out to be very interesting and enjoyable for the viewer who will be curious to know what happened to the poor man we meet at the beginning of the short, with impatience and without any yawn. In short: a good fantasy-horror product, with some nice original ideas, and I highly recommend it. If you have the chance to watch it, don't miss it!
