A decent supernatural thriller based on a story by the director himself and directed with his unmistakable style. Fulci reserves his usual cameo, playing the role of a pathologist who performs the autopsy on the protagonist's corpse. Although the special effects are not many, the actors do not excite and the screenplay often has so-called "holes", some good sequences can certainly be appreciated, almost worthy of his first thrillers. Unfortunately for us, this was the penultimate film that the master could direct (a few months later he ends his career with the last "The Doors of Silence"), a serious illness took him away before he could give us more nightmares.
