Andrea, a screenwriter already awarded for his works, begins to write a script for a horror film. One night, while watching a horror movie with his girlfriend, Andrea starts to hear noises in his house and believes, therefore, that he and his girlfriend are not alone in the house. Is it just suggestion or is there really someone else in the house? During the night, Andrea lies down on the bed and, after falling asleep, has a nightmare where he sees his now deceased grandparents and finds himself catapulted into the same story that he wrote in his script. 12-minute short film by the Italian Davide Melini who tackles a story based on the theme of memory imprinted in our mind and the difficulty of forgetting someone dear after their death, in short, a theme of strong dramatic impact. Good the ghost story atmosphere that is felt during the nightmare, which turns out to be a really hypnotic and tense sequence; a tension that even reaches its peak in the part where Andrea thinks he is not alone with his girlfriend in the house. Convincing the performance of the lead actor Matteo Pianezzi and good the light effects and atmosphere. Overall, this "The Script" turns out to be a good short film, really enjoyable and fun; perhaps the subject could have been developed further because the ideas were more than good to make a good feature film! But unfortunately in Italy, most of the time you either have the money or you have good ideas! Short film that I recommend to everyone!
