Considered one of the classics of the Italian horror-gothic tradition, this film by Freda is to be appreciated especially for the courage of having addressed a taboo subject for that time, such as necrophilia. Effective plot, excellent cast but inevitable slowness in the narration of the events. Beautiful but especially suitable for an audience that knows how to appreciate the gothic genre.
