Una signora, rimasta da poco vedova, è tormentata da terribili sogni che la spingono sull'orlo della follia, ma si tratta d'un'abile macchinazione. Degli ottimi interpreti (tra cui Judith Meredith e Robert Taylor) per un film carico di tensione, abilmente diretto dallo specialista Castle. Più giallo che horror ma comunque pregno di suspense. Consigliato.
