REVIEWS (1)
In late 19th-century Transylvania, Professor Abronsius and his eccentric assistant Alfred try to save a girl who has fallen into the hands of vampires. When they finally succeed, they realize that the woman has become a vampire herself... A parody of horror films directed by the great Roman Polanski ("Rosemary's Baby" and "The Tenant") who also takes on the role of co-protagonist (playing the assistant of the vampire hunter). Ironically and comically enough, it is memorable for its cinematic skill but attention it is a parody and there is nothing "scary". The beautiful protagonist is Sharon Tate, who will begin a love story with the director after this film, a prelude to her tragic end.
