Aliens to invade the earth use a particular weapon capable of awakening the dead and turning them into their slaves. The army will manage to thwart the threat. The most famous film (along with "Glen or Glenda") by the infamous Ed Wood Jr, who has been defined as "the worst director of all time". Among the actors is also Bela Lugosi, who at the time the film was made was already dead; Wood solved the problem by using a short sequence filmed before the film's production and then had a stand-in play Lugosi's role who was always on stage with his face covered. Flying saucers made of plastic, aliens among the most unlikely ever seen on the big screen and semi-amateur actors (including the wrestler Tor Johnson and, the then TV star, Vampira). Poor direction, poor acting but lots of imagination and an unintentional fun (the film was supposed, in the director's intention, to "scare").
