HorrorCult Reborn

The legendary horror review site returns online, more alive than ever

October 31, 2025—a symbolic day for every thrill-seeker—marks the triumphant return of HorrorCult, the historic outlet devoted to horror cinema and independent criticism, founded over twenty years ago and now ready for a new digital life.

Created by Marco Castellini, Andrea Belloni, and Francesco Mirabelli, HorrorCult emerges as the rebirth of the original site, a touchstone for a generation of enthusiasts. Today, it returns with a renewed project, crafted for cinephiles and lovers of terror, but also for those eager to rediscover the artistic and cultural value of horror.

The new HorrorCult will offer reviews, in-depth features, interviews, thematic columns, and daily news from the world of fear—covering genre festivals, theatrical and streaming releases, independent productions, and underground phenomena.

'We wanted to bring HorrorCult back to life to give voice to a free, passionate, and conscious form of criticism,' the founders declare. 'Horror is not just entertainment: it's a universal language that tells our deepest fears and transforms them into art.'

Balancing memory and innovation, HorrorCult aims to be a living, ever-evolving platform, capable of blending the tradition of the original site with a new editorial approach—more open, participatory, and contemporary.

The site is officially online from October 31, 2025. Welcome to the new era of HorrorCult.
