McKayla et Sadie sont meilleures amies. Pas étonnant, puisque les deux lycéennes partagent la même obsession pour les réseaux sociaux et rêvent d’accéder à la célébrité 2.0. Mais pas comme tout le monde : pour générer un maximum d’attention, elles kidnappent un tueur en série et l’obligent à leur apprendre le « métier ». Elles comptent ainsi créer le buzz elles-mêmes en faisant le boulot à sa place. Pourquoi courir après l’information quand on peut la générer ?

I was very excited to see Brianna Hildebrand and Alexandra Shipp in a female-led horror movie after their run in their respective X-Men movies. Unfortunately, Tragedy Girls didn't resonate with me. Maybe it's just because I'm too old (though probably not seeing as I'm between the ages of the two leads), maybe it's the movie's fault, maybe it's mine, but either way, I can't come away from Tragedy Girls with a recommendation.

Final rating:★★ - Had some things that appeal to me, but a poor finished product.
