A family of outlaws is besieged in a cabin in the heart of the forest by the sheriff and his men. When night falls, however, something attacks the sheriff's men and replaces them in the siege of the bandits. The short film is fundamentally divided into two parts: in the first, the story is that of a classic western, with the "fort" besieged, but which then turns into a classic horror based on atmosphere. Albanesi is undoubtedly very skilled at creating tension by playing with lights and subjectives in a style that still reminds of Dario Argento. The short film features other influences, such as Sam Raimi and George Romero. Intriguing is the final sequence with the only survivor wandering through the forest turned into a slaughterhouse by the "thing".
