A highly dangerous serial killer, nicknamed by the media "The Butcher" after leaving a considerable trail of bodies, is finally arrested by the police. Locked up in a criminal asylum with highly effective and powerful security measures, the ferocious killer will manage to get out of his security cell. Wandering through the facility's corridors, he will give free rein to his most brutal instincts. The police officers in charge of his custody and the prison staff will fall one by one under the blows of the ruthless maniac. The only survivor of the massacre, a psychiatrist, sent to the place to analyze his psyche and outline a psychological profile, will engage in a fierce struggle for her survival with the dangerous criminal. This is briefly the plot of this horror thriller, which, despite the lack of originality of the subject, is worth watching and provides some healthy chills to the viewer. Much of the success of this decent film goes undoubtedly to the main actors. The young psychiatrist is excellently portrayed by the former model Paulina Porizkova, already seen alongside Tom Selleck in "Alibi Seductive". In the role of the serial killer, we find Larry Drake, already seen in "Dr. Giggles" in the role of the mad doctor and in "Darkman II". Overall, a film that is worth watching and does not present moments of boredom, a more than acceptable product.
