A group of terrorists tries to capture a cruise ship full of tourists. To stop them, a group of researchers finds themselves by chance in those waters while conducting research aboard their super-technological vessel. All will have to deal with terrible worm-like creatures that emerge from the depths of the ocean to attack the ships. A year before "The Mummy", Sommers "embarked" on the direction of this no-frills fantasy-horror. Flat direction, flat screenplay, barely decent effects, mediocre actors, result: total boredom.
