In the jungle of Borneo, a ruthless scientist has cloned, using a fossil, a fierce alien creature with the intention of selling it as a biological weapon. Unfortunately, the being escapes and trouble begins for the protagonists… A small film that quotes as much as possible depending on the steps: a beginning like Indiana Jones, then a base in the middle of the jungle that looks like a small "Jurassic Park", an alien in the style of "Alien" and a final confrontation between good and the monster heavily taken from "Predator" but with a final fragment that owes much to "Jaws". The tension, with the exception of the sequence where the protagonists arrive at the base, is totally absent. The special effects are rather economical (in one scene they even resort to stop-motion) and the actors (Prochnow aside, although here he is clearly below par) forgettable. In short, a film that can only please those who settle for little.
