The Verdict
A young woman marries an aristocrat and goes to live with him in an ancient manor. Soon she will discover that a few hundred years earlier, a tragedy had taken place in that same castle, ending in a bloody murder. The protagonist of that story was a young woman who looks just like her, and it seems obvious that the tragedy is destined to repeat itself. A vile and unwatchable film, do not be fooled by the label on the cassette cover "special effects by Lucio Fulci": first because there are practically no special effects, except for a severed head that is also poorly made, second because Fulci's name is only used to attract the audience, in fact, the great director has only "loaned" his name in exchange for financial compensation. The film is absolutely terrible, poorly acted with a plot that is full of holes. Stay away.
