A mysterious being wants to prevent a certain theatrical work from being performed. Its author, a man without scruples, courts the protagonist of the show with little success, who, precisely because of her reluctance to the author's advances, is fired. The mysterious "Phantom of the Opera" will help her to take revenge… One of the best representations of Leroux's novel supported by the excellent photography of Arthur Grand and the solid direction of specialist Fisher.
