A series of murders shakes London: several girls are found strangled and the only connection seems to be the fact that all have their hands corroded by a powerful detergent. Inspector Hopkins, who is in charge of the investigations, however, has a precise suspicion... Adapted from a story by Edgard Wollace "The Hunchback of London", it is a negligible horror giallo produced in Germany in the mid-sixties. Halfway between investigative giallo and Hammer-style horror with measured rhythms and a not very original plot. Avoidable.
