Due biologi si recano in Amazzonia per esplorare la laguna dove sono stati rinvenuti dei resti di una creatura misteriosa. La spedizione si imbatte in un essere metà uomo metà pesce capace di vivere sott’acqua. Riescono a catturare il mostro che però alla fine riesce a fuggire e a far perdere le sue tracce. Un classico del genere fanta-horror; un po’ datato ma comunque ben diretto, inventivo, divertente e ancora godibilissimo. Adatto soprattutto ai veri amanti dei cult anni cinquanta.
