First episode of the television series created and hosted by Dario Argento for RAI at the beginning of the 1970s. Two newlyweds move into their new home, a two-story house by the sea in a rather isolated area. Soon they realize that their neighbor is a mad killer who has just killed his wife and who now, having discovered his secret, is determined to eliminate them as well.
Directed by Argento's friend and collaborator Luigi Cozzi, this first mini-film of the television series is a small masterpiece of skill. Excellent photography and careful direction are its strong points, while the weak point is represented by the ineffective performances of the actors (with the exception of the young protagonist).
