•A young man is going through a really unlucky period, he has fallen into depression and tries to commit suicide many times but without any result... One evening, he decides to make a pact with his three roommates who, in exchange for his inheritance, will have to kill him as painlessly as possible and, if possible, without him noticing. However, his three roommates will not be able to accomplish the task and will hire a terrible serial killer to give him the "dirty" job. But everything will not go as planned... First feature film directed by director Dagoberto Brasile, lasting "only" 3 hours and shot in 6 years. In "Suisaid - Who Kills a Friend Finds a Treasure" we find mixed many film genres, but to simplify, I classify it as a horror/grotesque. "Suisaid" presents a bit of all the themes dealt with by this director later, such as: mixing various film genres, irony, exaggerated cinema often used as if it were a cartoon, very ridiculous characters, very fast pace and that does not rely on the atmosphere. A film that manages to entertain and amuse the viewer, yes, but with some boring parts (it is still 3 hours!) ; there is presence of splatter especially in the third act (the film is divided into three acts of approximately one hour each!) and an unexpected twist at the end. The homemade special effects are clearly fake (but the intention of this film is certainly not to seem as realistic as possible!). Moreover, it must be said that it is still a film that has no intention of "seriousness" and that after viewing it will certainly have left nothing to the viewer, but it is a film that lets itself be watched and often makes you smile. Now in Italy only self-produced cinema remains and therefore you cannot look for perfection in this low-budget self-production. The viewing of this film is especially recommended to all those who love grotesque horrors and to those who know how to appreciate low-budget independent productions. Curiosity. After the first 10 minutes of "Suisaid", there is a scene where the protagonist loses his dog, that scene is actually a short film always by Dagoberto Brasile made in 1998. In the title, the word "Suisaid" is nothing more than the pronunciation of the English word "suicide", which means "suicide" in Italian.
