Quite an original idea for this beast movie directed by Franco Prosperi, a filmmaker who became famous in the mid-1960s worldwide for his documentary-verité films, "Mondo Cane" above all. This is a low-budget (or rather, very low-budget) film, hence with obvious limitations. It is recommended for those who love the genre in question (beast movies, to be precise) and for connoisseurs of Italian-made thrills; not suitable for "fine palates."
