A young couple discovers a thief in their home, the husband engages in a struggle with him to try to catch him but ends up killed, the thief then kills the wife to leave no witnesses, and then flees. The couple's two children, thanks to their paranormal powers, will discover that the murderer is none other than the house gardener. With this film (along with "Sodoma's Ghost"), Fulci truly hits the blackest bottom of his filmography. It is a pitiful film with a plot as thin as it is unlikely, a chilling performance (especially that of the two children), and some truly "abominable" scenes (one above all that of the "possessed" bulldozer). The film was perhaps an attempt to mix the comic element with the horror one, but the "work" does neither make laugh nor fear but only... cry. More than once the good Lucio has stated that he made some films only for "alimentary" reasons, we believe this is one of them. To be avoided anyway, even for fans of the director.
