A private detective embarks on an investigation into a series of strange and brutal murders. In the end, despite his skepticism, he will convince himself that behind those deaths lies a horrible secret: the existence of a spider-woman who feeds on the bodies of the poor unfortunate souls she manages to trap in her web. Another film signed by the specialist Dan Curtis ("Macabre Ballad") who once again gives us a more than enjoyable movie. A variation on the usual theme of the "femme fatale" who this time is really a "man-eater" (a terrible spider). Among the actors stands out the good Anthony Franciosa, already the protagonist of "Tenebre" and "In the Deadly Bite of the Ragno". Worth watching.
