An archaeologist brings a sarcophagus containing a mummy from Egypt and places it in a museum. One day, unintentionally reciting an ancient prayer found on a papyrus, he awakens the being that begins to commit a series of atrocious crimes. A young man will take care of putting it back into eternal sleep. Classic horror of the thirties with a masterful Boris Karloff, not very suitable for the modern public but very suggestive. For black and white nostalgics.
