•A young adventurer is saved from certain death by an adventurous archaeologist; to repay her, the boy decides to accompany the scholar and her brother in the search for an ancient Egyptian city buried under the desert sands. The expedition is a success, but not everything goes as planned: the researchers, in fact, awaken Imothep, an ancient Egyptian priest, from his eternal sleep, who has no friendly intentions at all. The situation worsens when the mummy, seeing in the beautiful archaeologist his ancient love, decides to make her his own. Dynamic, filled with computer-generated effects and tinged with a vein of humor, this is how the modern version of "The Mummy" presents itself, much more similar to "Indiana Jones" than to Karloff's film. Suitable for a young audience, with no really horrific scenes, the film is entertaining and smooth, but not scary at all.
