In an unspecified future, vampires have publicly declared their existence to humanity. Bloodsuckers and humans thus seek to coexist peacefully, but the new stability seems to be threatened by a series of murders that endanger their coexistence. A mysterious serial killer with bloody habits, in fact, is slaughtering young university students, creating panic among our race. But things are never as simple as they seem and often appearance deceives. Something much bigger is brewing. It will be the quick intervention of two policemen, one human and one belonging to the people of the night, aided by the help of the fascinating Lucy (an oriental-looking vampire with very sexy features), to reveal the mystery and defend the peace that risks being disturbed and compromised forever. A decent vampire movie directed by Michael Oblowitz. The film features the presence of Adrian Paul (already known in our country for having starred in the Highlander television series). Decently fast-paced, filled with bloody one-liners that are very funny and spiced with some special effects, the film flows quite well and is enjoyable, though not memorable. Once again, as in the previous "Blade" and "Dracula's Legacy", a new element capable of neutralizing vampires, silver, is introduced. The old ash stakes, crosses, and sunlight are demolished to make way for this new lethal antidote against the people of the night. Recommended for those who don't want to miss any vampire movie, but also for lovers of the genre who don't expect great things and big surprises. Decent.
