Six men find themselves gathered in a train carriage. One of them begins to predict the future for the others: the first encounters a werewolf, the second a horrible vegetable, the third is targeted by some exotic deities, the fourth is pursued by a severed hand, and finally the fifth is attacked by two vampires. Final surprise... A smooth and entertaining episodic horror film, starring three excellent actors (Donald Sutherland, Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee) directed with a steady hand by an expert in the genre. The limits are the usual ones of English productions from the sixties (forget about scenes of blood or violence that are too "explicit") but this is one of those rare cases where the film doesn't suffer too much. Enjoyable.
