But after a series of events that bring back to the young woman's memory past facts she had erased, the truth comes to light. Another cinematic adaptation of a King book (specifically the novel "Dolores Claiborne"), this time it is not a true horror but rather a dark thriller, masterfully played by a great Kathy Bates ("Misery"). The director is Taylor Hackford who later gave us the excellent "The Devil's Advocate". Recommended.
