Found footage not being found The saving grace of many found footage movies is the conceits by which the filmmakers keep filming, even when chased by the monster.
This movie does away with that and switches through a sort of flashback to present found footage-style to a standard shaky third-person view when the action gets going.
This does not, in fact, make the movie more enjoyable, but gives it a disjointed presentation, and while parts are well made and they certainly put money and effort into the production, it is still sub-par for the genre, and not warmly recommended.
