•Sidney Prescott, the young woman who miraculously survived the attack of two serial killers, moves to another city (Windsor) to start a new life. A tragic morning, Sidney and the university students learn from local media a horrifying news: two people have been brutally murdered at the cinema, during the screening of the film "Stab", based on the bestseller that tells the brutal crimes of Woodsboro. From this moment on, Sidney's life is in danger, because someone is trying to plagiarize past events to bring back the terror that seems endless.
Exactly one year later, American director Wes Craven returns with the sequel to the highly acclaimed "Scream". It is a film without great pretensions, which relies on a script written again by Kevin Williamson, already author of the first chapter. "Scream 2", costing slightly less than its predecessor, did not succeed in creating the same atmospheres that permeated the first, and the plot is insufficient, as it lacks originality and is predictable. The only points to note are the actors, as the protagonists of the film are mostly the same as in the first, including: Neve Campbell, David Arquette, and Courteney Cox. The murders are undoubtedly of great visual impact, well-conceived, and enriched by a high level of gore.
Recommended primarily to fans of the first chapter.
