Lucy works in a strip club and is forced to endure the heavy advances of customers and colleagues, but this is not her only problem: in fact, her son, the result of an extramarital relationship with the owner of the venue, shows clear signs of demonic possession. The little monster kills the parents and a doctor but is then stopped and freed from the possession thanks to the intervention of a nun. An exceptional cast composed of horror genre veterans (Pleasance, Munro) directed by one of the specialists of English fantasy-horror cinema: Peter Sasdy ("Doomwatch, the Monsters of 2001", "The Claws of the Strangler"). Too many obvious references (starting with the title) to Polanski's masterpiece for a film that ultimately turns out to be a sort of poor copy of the mythical "Rosemary's Baby". Therefore, boredom and a sense of "seen before" dominate; however, Joan Collins' powerful acting performance is noteworthy.
