In a spaceship lost in space, three humanoids are found in crystal coffins; to analyze them, they are brought to London. Soon, the researchers realize that they are vampires that suck not blood but life energy from their victims, transforming them into zombies. In the end, with the death of the last vampire, peace will return. Another and yet another misstep by Tobe Hooper (who, in reality, apart from the mythical "Don't Open That Door" has never directed memorable films) with a movie that, born with the idea of modernizing the vampire myth, has had the sole result of ruining it with a mix of genres that does not suit it. Moreover, the film is rather slow and heavy and has no terrifying or scary scenes. The subject is taken from the eponymous novel by Colin Wilson. Negligible.
