After an earthquake in an American town, strange fires break out. It's all due to the release from the earth's depths of strange insects that emit bursts of fire to attack anyone who approaches them. A scientist discovers that they belong to a prehistoric race and tries to analyze them but meets a bad end. In the end, the insects return on their own to where they came from. More "sci-fi" than "horrific," this "Bug" is a classic example of a mediocre film. At times enjoyable, at times boring, it doesn't offer particular insights to be remembered.
