A shy and complex girl, but with strange extrasensory powers, is continuously the victim of unsympathetic pranks by her classmates; the headmistress, who remembers the tragic consequences of a similar situation that occurred several years earlier, tries to help her, but in vain: in fact, the poor girl is invited to a party during which a short film is projected, the result of a recording made without the girl's knowledge, where she appears in "amorous attitudes" with a boy. Naturally, all the guests start laughing at her, who decides to take revenge and, unleashing her paranormal powers, commits a massacre… Sequel to the great "Carrie" by DePalma, the film is well made, enjoyable and fun; it even manages to give us some splatter sequences (remember the scene where a boy is castrated with an underwater rifle), it falters a bit at the end and never reaches the level of the first chapter, but remains a good production. In the cast, a "survivor" from the first "Carrie" by De Palma: it is the actress Amy Irving who plays again the character of Sue Snell (the only friend of "Carrie" in the first film) who in this sequel has become the headmistress of the school.
