•The Antichrist descends to earth to find a woman with whom to perform, in the last night of the millennium, a particular union ritual that will allow him to continue his progeny and conquer the world. The only one who understands the situation and tries to save the girl and the world is an ex-policeman (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) who is an alcoholic and depressed due to the loss of his family. A mega-production for a horror film that, after a good start, becomes too much of an action movie with a Devil who looks excessively like one of the replicants from Terminator; some dialogues are a shameless and pale imitation of those with which Pacino tried to charm Reeves in "The Devil's Advocate". However, the film also offers some positive points, including a Schwarzenegger in great shape and excellent special effects (except those in the final scene of the film).
