•Two reckless criminals attempt to break into the house of a master of special effects, who, both through his art and some particular powers, manages to eliminate the intruders. The first five minutes of the film will throw you into anguish for the fear of watching one of the many bad horror films in circulation. Soon, however, it becomes clear that the situation improves (although not much) and the film continues dragging itself, quite smoothly, until the (so to speak) final surprise. Some splatter sequences are good, among which the one where the protagonist's young daughter finds her little dog literally skinned alive is worth mentioning. Given the limited means available, one could not expect much more. Curiosity: the film was never released in theaters, it is available on home video and is occasionally broadcast on television.
