Two married couples, who set off on a journey in their camper, accidentally end up witnessing a diabolical ritual. The sect's followers try to eliminate them, but the little group manages to escape in time and alert the police, who however do not pay them any attention.

They will try to get by on their own, but when the nightmare finally seems over... Directed by actor-director Jack Starrett (famous for having directed, among others, several episodes of two highly successful TV series like "Starsky & Hutch" and "Planet of the Apes") and starring Peter Fonda, "In corsa con il Diavolo" is a film halfway between horror and drama. The screenplay and settings suffer from the low budget available for the film's production, which only saves itself from the "B-movie" category thanks to a fairly good final twist.
