•A small town in the American province is shaken by several atrocious murders that seem destined to go unpunished. But little Marty, a boy in a wheelchair, discovers that the killer is a werewolf who strikes on full moon nights. Together with his uncle, he will try to eliminate the monster. Adapted from a novel by Stephen King (who is also the film's screenwriter), the movie is pleasant and smooth, with some good semi-splatter sequences and absolutely believable and well-made "transformations," works of the "master" Carlo Rambaldi. It probably deserves third place among the best - color - werewolf films (though far from the quality of the two masterpieces of the genre "An American Werewolf in London" by Landis and "The Howling" by Dante). Recommended.
