The patients admitted to Dr. Convay's psychiatric clinic disappear mysteriously. A young policeman decides to sneak in among the patients and discovers that the mad doctor uses them to carry out atrocious experiments. When his true identity is revealed, he also risks ending up in the hands of the terrible Convay, but in the end, he manages to save his skin. Typical 1950s horror, once again starring John Carradine. Despite what the plot may suggest, don't expect particularly violent scenes or great effects... it was 1957 and it shows! Decent but nothing more, it strongly feels the weight of the years.
