Marco Castellini
Strange and brutal murders revolve around the embassy in Dublin; the commissioner in charge of the case cannot make sense of the situation, so he asks for help from a former police officer who was suspended from service for causing, with his violent methods, the suicide of a suspect. After various vicissitudes, the latter will manage to solve the case. Freda, considered by many the inventor of Italian horror with his "Vampiri", crafts a giallo-horror in the style of Argento, which never quite reaches the levels of the works of the latter. The violent scenes of the murders are more appreciated than anything else; in fact, the plot and the actors, as often happens in Italian horror films of the period, leave much to be desired.
