BLOODY PSYCHO

1989 IT HMDB

This is one of the five films legendary director Lucio Fulci supervised in 1989 to re-use some of the gory bits for his 1990 gorefest "A Cat in the Brain". "Bloody Psycho" features a haunted castle plus wimpy doctor Vogler, who is performing some sort of a psychic therapy on lesbian owner of the place.

A medium with paranormal healing powers goes to the villa of a rich noblewoman to help her alleviate the suffering she endures due to a car accident. Soon, he discovers that the house hides a horrible story of murders and ghosts. Do not be misled by the inscription on the cover "Lucio Fulci presents..." because, as already happened in "The Red Friars", Fulci has little to do with this poor product. The unknown director Lucchetti offers the worst that Italian horror has to offer, namely, mediocre and unintentionally ridiculous actors, "supermarket" special effects, and a non-existent script. No need to add anything else except the advice to stay away from this movie.
